A Couple Of All-Nighters and A Whole Lotta Caffeine

Boy Oh Boy

Who knew it would be so hectic to ship 1500 orders? 

So after the good news that we received our shipment last weekend, we jumped straight into packaging and sending the orders out to you all. I'm sure a lot of you have already received your rewards and there are some of you that are still waiting! Rest assured, if you haven't received it yet, they're currently on the way.

Good News: We finished shipping all the orders!

Uh Ohs

We did our best to make sure we sent out quality rewards, but there were some bad eggs that slipped in. 

Uh Oh #1:

So there were a couple of you that pointed out that the Unclip Keychain could be released with a push of just one wing. Unfortunately, we've pressed our manufacturers to solve this problem, but they couldn't figure out a way to do so. That being said, even if the Unclip feels a bit loose, it should still be secure. We've tested the Unclips ourselves for months by wearing it around every single day and they haven't fallen off yet. It seems that with more time, the Unclip gets more secure and used to the act of clipping on/off. 

We highly recommend that whenever you're clipping your Unclip back on, to make sure it's secured and locked in before going on any adventures. Keep in mind that it isn't designed for mountain climbing.

Uh Oh #2: 

Some of you have also pointed out that the chicago post has come loose. As we received some messages about this during our delivery process, we decided to bring in a screw driver during our quality control and make sure the screw post was tightened ALL THE WAY before sending it out.

 Perhaps you're hand tightening it when putting in your key rings and we would just recommend to make sure the post is 100% completely tightened until it can't budge before use.

We really do appreciate and welcome all types of feedback as it helps us better improve our products and to hold us accountable for making sure you all are satisfied. This has been a great experience as a first Kickstarter Campaign and a first product launch in general. It definitely did not come without its obstacles and we're just glad we had all your support during the whole endeavor.

GREAT NEWS

Hopefully you already saw, but we locked down your addresses from the BackerKit and we're currently processing all the orders! We received our entire shipment over the weekend and we immediately jumped into packing all the orders up and getting them ready for delivery. 

We still have a couple to get through as we are doing this ourselves, but we're sending out loads of them every day of this week. We should be able to finish delivery by Friday!

Release the Keychains!

Hope you all are doing well today! 

We've been pressing our customs broker for any and every update regarding our Unclip shipment being released from US Customs. We just got word from them that they were going through documentation review since last week and since it was July 4th weekend, things have been hectic and slow to process. 

Luckily, they released our shipment yesterday and now it's heading to a warehouse for FedEx to pick up. Once FedEx picks the shipment up, they'll deliver it to us and that is when we can start the delivery process. 

Some good news out of a bad situation, but no worries, folks! We understand that there seems to be delay after delay and we've been improving how we handle these situations in order to provide the best service to all of our supporters. At the end of the day, we will do everything in our power to make sure these Unclips get into your hands as soon as we can. 

We got some encouraging support from the Kickstarter community and it's that kind of support that keeps us going! 

Hate to keep repeating this, but we can't express how much we love the support and patience you all have.

US Customs Clearance

US Customs Clearance gives us a headache

 We are patiently waiting for the production order to clear through US Customs as we speak. The whole process is super frustrating because we're on the same page as all you backers. We want our unclips now!

With that said

All we can do is keep in contact with our forwarder and do our best to make sure the shipment gets to us in time. We've been pressing them for a couple weeks and believe us... we're anxious to get the Unclip too! 

We just wanted to thank you all for the patience and we totally understand how frustrating this can be. Thanks for believing in us and we are doing our best to make this all worth the while.

Unclips On The Way As We Type This Update!

UPDATE

So the Unclips are now on the way to us! We're waiting for the order to come in from our manufacturer. The date of arrival is said to be June 27th so that means we'll be starting our delivery on June 27th.
