Happy Spring to all! The weather is beautiful here in San Diego and we hope you're all enjoying all the perks of the spring time! 

Production:

So since the last time we've updated you, we've been in constant contact with our manufacturer to assure that production for the Unclip Keychain is all going according to plan. Unfortunately, our manufacturer updated us yesterday that production would have to be delayed further 10 days. The reason for this, she stated, is that they are currently training many new workers in their factory and this causes delay for all the products produced in their factory since they don't want to make any mistakes. We have tried our best to make sure they deliver as fast as possible, but at the same time, we cannot afford to sacrifice the quality of the Unclip Keychain as we place high importance in delivering quality products to our backers.

That being said, delivery has been pushed back to April 17th. Which means we will be receiving our Unclip inventory April 17th. Once we do, we will keep you all updated and immediately start on the shipping/delivery process. If anything else comes up, we'll make sure to keep you all updated. We sincerely apologize for these unexpected problems and want to thank you all for the patience. This is out of our control, but we are doing our best to handle the situation as professionally as possible. 

BackerKit Survey

Simultaneously, we have been in contact with the BackerKit team. We're currently building out the survey format and finalizing everything in order to send the survey out. We are planned to be sending out the Backerkit survey to all of you early next week. 

I understand your frustration with the complications we're currently going through and I can assure you that we're doing everything possible to make the best out of these situations. We can't thank you enough for your support and patience.

Packaging Designs + Production Process + Surveys

Hey all! 

Sorry for the hiatus. We've been working hard to get everything set for you all to receive your Unclip Keychains by April (the expected delivery month). After our manufacturers got back from their Chinese New Year celebration for the month of February, we got back in contact immediately and made sure that we would be starting the production as soon as possible. They have started production and we are discussing the sourcing for our packaging. Here's a sneak peek at the design of the packaging each Unclip will come with! 

It'll be made with recyclable Kraft Material. 

 Our manufacturers told us that the production would be done around the last week of March (as it does typically take 30 days for production). It will take a week for them to ship over the production order and we are expected to receive the order in the first week of April (April 7th). This is all based on what the manufacturer is telling me and we are doing our best to hold them to their word.

There has also been several of you asking about the surveys. We just got in contact with BackerKit, a better survey to send because we are able to offer add-ons, that a lot of you requested in your messages. We also have been delaying sending out our surveys because we want to collect the most accurate shipping addresses from everyone. That is why we are waiting until we are ready to ship to send out surveys. Many of you inquired about changing your address due to moving locations or whatnot so by sending the surveys later on, we are able to collect the most up to date shipping addresses we can.

BackerKit Survey + Chinese New Years

Happy Chinese New Years! 

Hey all! A lot of you have been wondering about the survey situation and I wanted to help clarify. Everything is going well on our timeline so far and as expected, shipments will be coming in the last week of March. The only reason why they are coming in around the end of March is because our manufacturers are currently celebrating Chinese New Years, which typically is celebrated for a couple weeks to the whole month of February. Just to let you know :)

Regarding the surveys not being sent out yet: We are currently setting up a Backerkit profile to push out a survey with additional options for add-ons since some of you asked if you could add additional unclips and such to your reward selection. We are planning to send out the Backerkit Survey around the next week or so. So please be patient. We aren't leaving you in the dust! 

As an update on our progress, we situated everything and all is good for all Kickstarter backers. We prioritized your orders first so that once we receive those, we will immediately work to send yours out before any other.
